Patricia M. Sias, Ph.D.

Organizing Relationships Podcast

Patricia M. Sias is a professor in the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. She is the author of more than 25 peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters. Dr. Sias received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 where she was awarded the W. Charles Redding Outstanding Dissertation Award for the outstanding doctoral dissertation in organizational communication, sponsored by the International Communication Association. Since 1993, Dr. Sias has spent the bulk of her time researching interpersonal relationships in organizations. In 2009, Dr. Sias published Organizing Relationships: Traditional and Emerging Perspectives on Workplace Relationships with Sage Publications.
